Why do some people who have early growth spurts stop growing ?
All has to do with ancestry- until about 2000 years ago most people lived in very isolated tribal cultures, with little intermixing– so genetics were concentrated and most people looked about the same and developed fairly equally. Today, in europe but especially in Canada and the US, you may be friends with 10 guys who, if you traced their ancestry back, came from 10 or 20 or even more cultures and so genetics among most US guys are not comparable. I entered puberty around 11 and was shaving daily at 13, was fully grown before I was 16. My best friend probably didn’t enter puberty until 14, and he wasn’t grown until 18. My brotherinlaw was the shortest guy in his class until 11th grade, looked like a 10 yr old– then he grew a foot at 16 and was still growing when he died at 19. So lots of variation, all due to ancient genetic backgrounds.
