Why do some people seem to have so many hitpoints at a low level?
Well, they might have come across special items, or done special things to gain far more hit points than the common, ordinary adventurer who spends their time simply engaging in polite philosophical discourse and stabbing things in the forests next to town because it’s safer. If you’re unsure, you could just ask their player how they did it.
