Why do some people say that the holocaust did not happen?

Some people like believing that the Holocaust didn’t happen so they don’t have to feel pity for the Jews. What I don’t like about how Jews treat the Holocaust is they act like it was all about them. Okay sure 6 million people who died were Jews, but another 6 million died in the concentration camps were non-Jewish. Gypsies, homosexuals, the disabled, the mentally insane, the clergy who wouldn’t abide Nazism, anti-Nazi Germans, Polish citizens, Jehovah Witnesses, People of African descent, those who refused to divorce their Jewish spouse, etc.
