WHY do some people make WHITESKINNED mixed people feel ugly?
You sound so much like me actually. I have green eyes, dark hair and pale skin with a slight olive-yellowish tone to it. I actually do tan naturally very well, but i don’t live where there is much sun. I’ve actually had the same reactions as you. My sister was so shocked that i was going out in a dress with my white legs on show. She would refuse until she got a spray tan. I’ve had people remind me i’m so pale and that i need some colour in me. Why do i ‘NEED it?? I’ve had tanned guys shouting ‘pasty’ at me in the streets! It can get annoying. Even my 7 year old nephew laughs at me because he has a tan and i don’t Skin colour obsession is way beyond me. Thing is i don’t let it bother me. My skin is healthy, i’m not drowned in spots, i don’t have any skin problems so i should be happy about that right?
