Why do some people make promises they never have any intention of keeping?
Sometimes people make promises that they have every intention of keeping at the time that they made the promise, but later though differently and are to embarrassed to come out and say that. The other thing is that she may have just been saying things to be polite not expecting you to take her up on it. The next time that you ask her to help you should call her on it. Come right out and ask her and if she was good friend up until this let her know that it’s effecting the friend ship and that you want to stay friends if you do. My Mom used to say that sometimes we have fair weather friends, people who are there when things are good or just cloudy but when things are really bad and we need them they aren’t there. Those are the people that you know aren’t really there for you so you don’t count on them in the bad times.
