Why do some people get an error about an invalid referring URL when they try to access the Flickr2Map service?

The Flickr2Map service must know the Flickr referring URL in order to work. If the user’s web browser isn’t sending it (either because they have it configured that way or because of an HTTP proxy server), the Flickr2Map service will not be able to get the photo’s information.
