Why do some peope think that sending kids away to boarding school is neglect?
I started boarding school in England when I was almost six, and went for eight years before moving to the United States. I deeply prefer the boarding school experience to what I’ve come to know in the US, simply because I stay focused better when I’m not bouncing back and forth. That and all of my best mates were right down the hall, or in the bed across the room, I was never without someone to talk to. My parents chose mine and my brother’s schools very carefully, and they sent us there because they felt it was the best place for us to gain a well-rounded education, and I feel like we did.
