Why do some of the Paul McKenna books, CDs and DVDs state that they should not be used if one suffers from epilepsy?

All of my CDs & DVDs have a warning that people with epilepsy should not listen to them. This is because there is a slight chance some people who suffer from epilepsy may experience a reaction when listening to the CDs or watching the DVDs. However many people with epilepsy will have no reaction; indeed hypnosis has been used in the treatment of epilepsy. I would suggest you consult with your doctor. The warning applies to the CDs and DVDs only and obviously somebody with epilepsy will be absolutely fine to read the book.
