Why do some married men, when they reach middle age, tend to flirt with attractive young women?
I’m going to say something that will probably make all middle aged women out there angry, but here goes: Men flirt with young attractive women, because as we age we fall into the trap of complacency. We forget how to have fun. We think that “at our age” it isn’t necessary to take time to make ourselves more attractive. We take for granted that the man we are with is as complacent as we are in our comfort zone rather than still wanting be made to feel attractive by a woman who appreciates herself enough to dress in a fun, provocative manner. We forget that it is fun, fun, fun to flirt. Women can be very closed minded about human needs. We become mothers and the first thing we do is use that as an excuse to stop being “a Woman”. Women want to be loved and appreciated just the way they are and that is fine so long we understand that men want the same thing. And men flirting with younger women is by no means cheating.
