Why do some horse like human food eg pizza meat pies cola everything basically?
Keep in mind that human food …most of it anyway, has lots of salt and sugar….2 things that horses love and get on a regular basis i.e. salt licks and sweet feed. Also, human food has grain, corn, oats more things that horses love. Unless your vet keeps your horse on a special diet a little safe human food once in a while won’t hurt. I used to know a horse that would get a handfull of Fritos in his bucket once a week and a carrot cake on his birthday.
