Why do some fund details pages show a box titled “credit ratings” and some a category called “sector weightings”?
The Portfolio detail page for a bond fund displays a category called “Credit Rating.” This box shows a designated bond rating, such as “AA”, “followed by the percentage of the fund’s total holdings that are comprised of bonds with that credit rating. A stock fund details page displays a box titled “Sector Weightings,” which indicates the different industries represented in the portfolio. The sector, for example “Health Care”, is listed on the left, followed by the percentage of the fund’s holdings within that category.
