Why do some countries hate Israel?

Because we took some of Palestine’s at the end of World War II and gave it to Jews as a homeland, because of the Holocaust that occurred. The rest of the Middle East is not happy that we (and the other Allies, I think) that we took the land from a sovereign country and gave it to people who had never lived in that area before. As a result of this, the U.S. is a constant and unwavering supporter of Israel, and the Middle East does not like that we prop them up with weapons and money, while the Israelis are just as responsible for the killing that goes on in that area as the Palestinians and other Islamic countries are. In my mind, Israel tends to hide behind the power of the U.S. sometimes, because they know that we will be there to have their back in any conflict.

Israel was carved by force out of other countries after the Second World War. There are still people who remember being forced out of their homes so the new country could be formed as an imitation on the ancient Israel. While professing to follow Mosaic Law, Israel failed to return all lands taken by force during their Jubilee (50th. anniversary). They have only been able to survive because of interference by the U.S.

Israel was given land belonging to Palestine in the aftermath of war at the partition. As Ben-Gurion said (in reference to the indigenoous Palestinians) “a people who fights against the usurpation of its land will not tire so easily.” Despite an overwhelming inequality of arms, ensured by the ongoing massive aid to Israel as opposed to the minimal aid given to all other States in that region by the USA, the Palestinians have not yet tired. Why would there be any surprise? Native American Indians are still demanding the return of some of their lands, and they were shoved off their land long before the creation of the artifice that is Israel. While it is undoubtedly true that England occupied many countries for several centuries, those countries that have wanted independence have been given it. Perhaps Israel might, even at this over late time, return Palestine to the Palestinians. Sorry – a silly thought, they believe they have some sort of divine right to the lands that they were given
