He said He doesn’t want ANY to perish (spend eternity in hell), but that ALL would turn to Him and repent. He even said, “I place before you blessing and cursing, life and death. Please choose Life, that you may live!” (Jesus said “I am Life.”) I can’t talk about pretend, phony, counterfeit Christians who are in it for either the show, escape from hell, or strictly for the rewards of heaven. In fact, I’m not quit 100% sure that they will escape hell with that kind of attitude. But I DO know that those that TRULY love and serve God, want what God wants, and that is to rescue you from your sins, from the power that Sin has over you (“Who ever commits sin is a slave to sin, but whom the Son sets free shall be free indeed.” ~Jesus), and the eternal consequences of those sins.
