Why do some Christians ask mind-numbingly stupid questions about Atheists?
Here is a better mantra to take. Rather than dignifying any stupid questions – by dwelling on it, telling others about it, etc… – perhaps we should take a step back and look at the bigger picture. The question itself that you have posed to us has a fatal flaw – it builds up the very walls that divide us, rather than bring us all together. Instead of defining everyone with a title such as ‘Atheist’ and ‘Christian’, we should realize that we are all beings on the same path: we are born, we enjoy the world for as long as we can, then we perish. Why anyone should care to concern their self with what comes next, in my opinion, is a waste of the valuable time we are given to experience all that world has to offer. Others might not agree (religious followers mainly) but that is their calling – and people like us must acknowledge that the joys they feel from religion ARE their experience of life.
