Why do some chapters offer some community services programs and not others?
Community Services programs are offered based on the community’s needs, financial resource availability, and the chapter’s ability to provide the service. Some chapters focus exclusively on traditional American Red Cross areas such as Disaster, Health & Safety, Armed Forces Emergency Services and International Services. Every chapter does not offer Community Services programs, though most chapters offer one or more programs. Contact your local American Red Cross chapter and ask about their Community Services programs they may offer.
