Why do some carpet stains come back after cleaning?
There are several reasons this can happen. First is the stain did not complete come out. You see this happen with low power or dry carpet cleaning that only cleans the surface, leaving the residue to once again collect dirt. If your carpet cleaner uses a detergent to clean carpets the are stuck in the 80’s. While once very popular, detergent rinses will always leave a slight residue that can attract dirt and cause severe re-soiling. (We use a soft water low ph rinse, leaving your carpets virtually virgin clean). Even with the best equipment and training, occasionally some stains re-appear.
