Why do some camels have one hump while others have two humps?
Some camels have one hump and some have two, it depends on the species of it. for example some people are white and some are black, thats just were they came from. The dromedary, one-humped or Arabian camel has a single hump, and the Bactrian camel has two humps. the difference is the fact that a one hump camel evolved in a different region than a two hump camel. The Dromedary (one hump) evolved mostly in the dessert…while the two hump camel evolved in mountainous regions. Also, the dromedary has a skinnier coat than that of the two hump.
