Why do some browsers not work with TAIR BLAST and how can I get see BLAST results with Safari on MacOSX?

The current version of TAIR BLAST might not work with Netscape in older versions of Mac OS (e.g. 8.6). With Macs running older versions of OSX and Safari (older then version 2.0.4), the results might be downloaded onto your computer rather than returned in your browser window. In order to view results with an older Safari browser you will need to open the downloaded file using Safari. Alternatively, until this problem is resolved, you can choose to have the BLAST results returned via email, or use another browser on OSX such as Internet Explorer or Netscape.
