Why do some baseball leagues have wooden bats and others have aluminum bats?
Some baseball leagues have wooden bats and some baseball leagues have aluminium bats mainly due to cost and prices. Aluminium bats will last a long time, and therefore you don’t have to keep buying wood bats. Wood bats can break on one pitch, and can be very costly. A second reason is safety, which really should be the first reason. The safety concern is this: with an aluminium bat, the ball will tend to come off the bat much faster, and will literally make it dangerous for the pitcher. A wooden bat doesn’t quite have the speed coming off of it, so safety is really a second reason why.
