Why do so many students join Greek organizations?
Most students will tell you it is more than the social aspect that attracted them to Greek Life. Each chapter is based on a set of ideals and values that extend throughout their brotherhood/sisterhood. Examples of these values include community service, scholarship and leadership. Getting involved in Greek Life gives you the opportunity to explore your leadership abilities, as well as develop friendships that extend well beyond graduation. Can anyone join a Greek Organization? Any full-time undergraduate student is eligible for New Member Recruitment if they have passed 2/3 classes in A Term. Students who are taking semester-long courses should see the Greek Advisor prior to New Member Recruitment to obtain an academically eligible status.
