Why do so many people want small dogs?
I have a small house with a small yard. So, a small dog works for me. (I have a cairn terrier and she’s about 16 lbs and I have a toy poodle that’s about 7 lbs) I also like the fact that they can sit in your lap and sleep with you. Not that I have anything against large dogs, I had a Lab growing up. I got her for Christmas when I was in first grade and had to put her to sleep the summer before my senior year of high school because she had cancer. I like large dogs, I just don’t have the space for one.
