The weekend is upon us and I plan on spending ample time at JR’s BBQ joint in Norman and watching plenty of football on TV. OU is off this weekend but all the Sooner faithful will be watching the Miami at Virginia Tech game Saturday afternoon as Oklahoma plays “The U” next Saturday in Miami. That’s the day before the “Heck in a Cell” PPV in Newark which looks as if it has or is about to sell out. Nonetheless, a man has to have his priorities so I will fly to Miami and catch the game and then go to work on Sunday. Here’s some random thoughts that can easily be turned into covert comments or plain ‘Ol dirt if you choose. Tulsa’s Smackdown event was the best attended, WWE event ever in Tulsa. It helps to be in the biggest arena Tulsa has ever had, the impressive BOK Center, but a good accomplishment nonetheless.
