Why do so many girls think abercrombie and hollister are fashionable and expensive?
A lot of the clothes reminds me of clothes you can get nearly anywhere for about half the price. The fit only stays good if you wash it a certain way but if it’s not washed correctly it’ll probably shrink a bit. The funniest thing about some of these kids are that they think Old Navy is a “Poor” store, when really the prices are just ebtter and Old Navy has more variety and colors. Hollister is ok if you want something casual and quick to wear, but it’s on the same level as Old Navy and HM, it’s just a store to buy clothes you’d normally wear every day. The only thing that really just makes me lose my lunch is UGG boots, they’re hideously ugly, and leather boots look so much better with jeans. well, I suppose it’s a matter of fitting in and taste. Most people want to fit in while others indulge themselves with what they actually prefer wearing.
It’s just expensive for what it is–cheaply made clothes that pill all too easily that are made in 3rd world countries. I admit I do buy from them, but I don’t like to get the cheap logo tees, just knits and sweaters and jeans. EW! And people just like the style of it-it’s comfortable and pretty. But I know what you’re saying. Theres a lot of girls at my school that think they’re the hottest damn things because the wear hollister t shirts with crappy hoodies and clogs. …..but they do fit quite well, and another good thing is they’re cut small, so I won’t have any of the same clothes as fat people.
