Why do so many christians believe god refuses to answer prayer because of freewill?
Let’s put it this way – God will answer prayer when a person becomes worthy of receiving the blessing. Who is worthy? NONE! None are worthy. God does not need to anyswer one prayer. He will and does when the petitioner comes in line with God’s Will. THe question then is “What is God’s Will for one’s life?” Search for that and you will see prayer being answered. If you constantly and continually tithe – you have proved that you are worthy of the blessing of financial gain and God will pour out the blessing of money upon you. A friend of mine gives and gives and gives and everything he touches turns to gold. His investments, his business………everything. He gave over $10,000 when it was difficult. He then gave $100,000 when he could have bought a boat or 2nd home. He gave $1M because God provided it. He now gives about $20M to $30M a year and he is still growing. God’s shovel is WAY bigger than yours. Search your heart and find His Will.
This is a very good question and one that I have struggled with myself. In my studies of the catholic faith, Christian science and the science of mind in conjunction with quantum physics, I have deduced that the key word in your example is “believe”. Fact, we all create an energy field when we think, if you drop to your knees and beg for something in anguish, unfortuneately you create an energy field that attracts more anguish. Another passage to consider is this Jesus said, “act as though I am and I will be”. You truly attract good fortune when you bring your energy up to a level of excepting the thing that you want. A good example, although some what crass is this, I had a friend, short, chubby with this wierd short hair cut, he thought / believed he was the best thing that ever happened to the female population and he was constantly attracting very attractive women.
