Why do so many bands refuse to play guitar solos anymore ?

many bands don’t play solos anymore because of their lack of talent i’ve seen many bands play and not have solos just because the band them self’s can just right a good chorus line and guitar riff but solos are very tricky and with guitar playing catching on again everybody picks up a guitar and learns a few chords and believes their gods at guitar its just people trying to fit in pretty much. it kinda sucks!

Most modern bands think they can play guitar just cos they can play chords. They forget people like Clapton and Harrison who could improvise and create brilliant solos. Not to mention learning from classical guitarists such as Mason Williams.
