Why do shoulder tendon tears happen?
First I must preface, I have no medical background – can only speak from experience which I hope will help and prevent injury for someone else. For me I took on a new job, stopped my normal routine – cut down on my weekly exercises and my shoulder muscles suffered. Then my body shouted at me with a frozen shoulder. I am now rehabbing and not appreciating the sleepless nights not to mention the pain. The loss of muscle tone and the inactivity lead to weight gain – oh, so horrible items in life. Moral of the story – exercise on a regular basis may prevent injury. If injured seek medical attention right away – especially the shoulder. Don’t ignore your body’s valuable signals. Listen and respond to your body’s cry for attention.
