Why do schools like devry or itt-tech have such a bad reputation?
I also got my degree from ITT (BASEE) and you learned as I did: Employers don’t care where you get your degree from, MIT or ITT. Go to Monster dot com and look at the “qualifications” 4 year degree OR 8 years experience. When you have a degree it shows the employer that you are a person who is willing to devote 4 years of your life to a project (degree) and see it through from beginning to end. Why do “Tech. Schools” have a bad reputation compared to a “Real Collage”? Because they are not real collages in that they don’t have a football, baseball, or basketball team. They don’t have huge campuses with dorms, stadiums and big buildings, so people think they are not real schools. But you still get a paper (your degree) that carries the same value as that “real collage”.
