I personally think that if a student is using free-answers repetitively, then it is cheating, but if it is just a question or two then it is fine… It is almost the same as asking an older sibbling or parent for help. Some students do not have older brothers or sisters, or their parents are not home to help, therefore they use free-answers. When kids ask for answers on their homework, you do not necessarily have to answer it. If you don’t want to help them, then that’s fine, skip over their question and move on. Whoever wants to help them can if they want to. After all it IS called, “Free-Answers” and after all, the internet IS free for anyone’s use. HOWEVER, this would all depend on the understanding of the student. If they have have the answer to their homework does not necessarily mean they understand it. Therefore, when it time for their quizes or tests they will fail. Their failing grades would only be their fault for not either paying attention in class or getting some extra hel
