Why do republican get so up in arms about abortion?
Off the cuff, I would say it is because the Republican Party if full of conservatives. Conservatives hate change, anything they think is “wrong,” scientific evidence, science, evolution and so on. At this time in history those types of conservatives have control of the Republican Party and most of its members. They threaten to unseat, not only Dems, but Republicans who do not hue their line of thought. What is amazing to me is how many Americans are so ignorant. Are they not educated enough in school or simply have such a low IQ they cannot be educated? You do not need too much education to realize that many of the conservative positions are strictly based on fundamentalist religious beliefs. If some so-called religious person says God opposes abortion, and they go along with it, then they believe everyone else should also believe the same nonsense.
