Why do Reikos sisters all start with “Shi” but “Reiko” doesn ?
A. I just like the way it sounds. “Shihoka, Shirabe, Shinobu, and little Reiko”. I created Reiko years ahead of her sisters, but I designed her older sisters all at about the same time. They are all named after people I have known in real life. The number 4, or shi, is also very unlucky in Japanese culture and relates to death.
