Why do records on prescribed agricultural ERA products and other herbicides have to be kept?
Ametryn, atrazine, diuron, hexazinone and tebuthiuron (‘prescribed agricultural ERA products’) are the most commonly found herbicide residues in the waters of the Great Barrier Reef and are of concern for reef water quality. Records for some other herbicide products are also required as they have the potential to affect reef water quality.
