Why do Ready Reserve foods have a long shelf life?
For maximum storage life, Ready Reserve dehydrated foods are packaged using automated equipment that removes the oxygen and replaces it with inert gases in both the #2 1/2 and #10 cans. This “inert” atmosphere gives the food the longest possible shelf life. Our cans are heavy-duty, double enamel lined cans. Our boxes are double test and they are white to reflect light and keep out heat.
