Why do ppl believe so strongly in religion when it causes so many violent deaths?
I have to agree strongly with blissman and the many others who answered this question who stated that religion has nothing to do with all the deaths from wars. Religion is used as an excuse by those in power to gain more power and wealth for themselves. Before religion people used to kill each other for land, for cattle for anything. Its human nature. Although it is true that some people follow religion blindly without questioning any aspects of it, this i will agree with. Im assuming the person who asked this question doesnt believe in religion, maybe they believe in science instead. The same science that creates these weapons which kill so many people.
