Why do Portuguese deny their Black African heritage?

0

It’s the first I’ve heard of the Portuguese actually denying their “black african hertiage” but then this is the first time I’ve ever been presented with such results. Largely these finding don’t susprise me but you could equally conduct research on many other countries’ populations and find genetic links with other ethnic groups. Of course people and society like to see themselves as part of one entity and not a multi of others, it just makes life simple or you could put it down to ignorance….or racism!
