Why do physicians put limits on the number of patients they will accept into their practice?

0

Physicians have to do this in order to keep waiting times at acceptable levels for the patients already in their practice. At present there are no physicians at SFMC accepting new patients. SFMC currently has 50,000+ patients in its database, with over 20,000 of these having an SFMC physician listed as their Family physician. Overall the Clinic has approximately 100,000 patient visits annually.
