The minimum image count is a restriction of the themes and the design software. The way the library-quality sewn book blocks are finished requires a minimum of 10 pages (20 sides). Therefore this is a restriction within the design software. The software is also set up to alternate page styles within a layout, with a different amount of image openings being displayed on opposite sides of a spread. Based on this, there should be: 3 photos per spread (1 on side a, 2 on side b) 3 photos x 10 pages (20 sides) = 30 photos 1 photo in case a photo is placed on the cover + 30 photos inside &#61 31 photos Images can be removed later (after the initial layout) so it is possible to make a 10 page/20 side f-stop photo book with as little as 20 images.
