Why do philosophers try to understand love?
Love and people caring surpasses logic or reason Because even in love we do things beyond the extremes.Thats why philosophers cannot get their head round love.Irs like the tale of soloman and the baby. 2 women bring a child before soloman and both claim the child is theirs.Solomon orders the child to be cut in half.The true mother breaks down and cries and asks the baby to be spared and her life taken instead.Thats a mothers love.Even love in relationships surpasses logic and the nearest thing we can do and say to express that is to say we “love”.Thats why Philosophers willkeep trying and fail.
