Not all studies in universities or colleges are technical schools. Most studies however, do make it seem like the university is a vocational school just aiming you towards “the real world.” American education has this idea in mind. It’s the reason you go to school, try to pass exams set up by the government, and you go to school. No, you don’t necessarily need a college degree to be educated. There are books, real life experiences, the internet, etc. However, whoever was trying to make the claim that Rush Limbaugh is a dropout genius is seriously mistaken. That babbling idiot is uneducated in general; he’s uneducated with or without school. The point of the university was to teach various subjects to people (civics, science (how things worked, the universe, etc), math, show literature, etc. Unfortunately, it’s a broken system where at the end the only thing that matters is a diploma saying you managed to meet some criteria.
