Why do people want to adopt babies and not older children? ?
It’s a personal choice. The parents have look at deep into themselves, their existing family and decide what works for them. If they can honestly say that an older child would be too much for them or not fit into the family dynamics then they should adopt a younger child. They should adopt the age, sex, ability/disability that fits their family and not let outsiders sway their decision. Don’t forget that adopting a baby prevents a child from becoming an older child in FC in a few years. What is boils down to is what can the AP’s handle, want do they want, what will work for their family. Age is just 1 factor in which child to adopt.
