Why do people use paraffin or blend beeswax with paraffin to make candles?
Paraffin is much less expensive than beeswax because it’s made from petroleum and meat-packing plant by-products. It’s also “easier” to work with and is compatible with a greater number of candle molds than 100% pure beeswax. However, during the candle production and burning process, toxins are released into the air just the same. Here at Presence of Nature, the choice to use 100% pure beeswax is easy!
