Why do people underestimate the true costs of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan?
The true costs of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan: US soldiers dying in wars that cannot be won (Iraq and Afghanistan aren’t going to be democracies anytime in the near future). (capturing Osama doesn’t require occupying an entire country- anyway, he’s probably in Pakistan) The civilians being killed because they live near the places where bombs are dropped. Unemployed youth who fight only because they are poor and dislike foreigners invading their countries. Think about it.
