Why do people think there better than the next?,i am quite happy with the way i live?
If you are happy with yourself, then you should not care what others think. Some people try to act like they are better than others, but typically that is a front for massive insecurity. Being able to laugh things off is sometimes a good trait to show that you are not hung up on always being right.
People are people, at middle age, I know many who like to brag about being The Jones, yet have nothing in savings but every toy in the world. Some people grew up poor and over compensate their lives cause they felt inferior as young people. If people think they are better, they are entitled, doesn’t make it so. Just go about your business and let them go about theirs. The trick is to not get caught up in there bragging or anything like that. Be happy for them and be sincere. Your time will come when you’re the envy. But as you said you’re happy and stay that way.
