The oldest know active religion today is Hinduism….the summerian religion, whatever they were called, were the predecessor of Hinduism.

No they all did not follow the same religion. I would say Hinduism is the oldest religion unless nature spirits is now a religion.

I’ve never heard anyone claim that Egyptian religion was the oldest before! What we think of as Ancient Egyptian religion actually took place over a period of thousands of years, and it changed and developed over time, took in influences from other faiths and cultures etc. People have found artifacts older than Ancient Egypt that we believe are related to the practice of a faith…such as items buried in Neanderthal graves, and traces of pigment found in Neanderthal graves that hint that the body might have been ceremonially painted prior to burial.
