Why do people think that they are psychic?
Some people may have experiences that they cannot explain otherwise. This includes people who “don’t believe in coincidences” so that any vague prediction may take on more significance than it actually has.” Those who believe in the supernatural are more likely to assume a non-natural source for strange phenomena, whether they be tricks of the light, magnetism, strange dreams, etc. Some people may suffer from hallucinations or auditory delusions and will credit the supernatural rather than, say, a mental disorder. Life can get pretty monotonous. If your schedule is the same day to day, it might be refreshing and exciting to think that you have a key to a mysterious reality which few people have access to. It separates you from the flock of human beings pursuing ordinary routines and ordinary goals so that they may live out an ordinary life. IMO, humans need creativity to thrive. The world of psychics, remote viewers, fortune tellers, etc, is just one way of expressing this.
