I don’t think it really matters either to any of us listeners. But the person sure wants to get noticed, and if that is their thing, it’s no big thing, let them do it. If it bugs you, just tune it out till it’s over. It probably doesn’t happen that often. And yes, the radio stations keep track, as much as they can on about how many people listen and call in. The more callers, tells them they are doing well, they encourage it. .
