Why Do People Sexually Abuse Children?
Juvenile Sex Offenders and Sexually Reactive Youth Children and young people who display sexually harmful behaviour — NSPCC • Research studies show that between 25-40 per cent of all alleged sexual abuse involves young perpetrators. • The majority of those who display sexually harmful behaviour are adolescent males, but young children and females also commit sexually harmful acts. There are few figures regarding the ethic origin of children with sexually harmful behaviour.
