Why do people sell kittens at only 6 weeks old?
Most people with kittens are desperate to get rid of them. Irresponsible pet owners fail to have their pets spayed and end up with a litter of kittens they don’t want. They prey upon the “awww factor” of young kittens to find them homes as soon as they can. It’s really sad because they benefit from being with mom for at least 8 week-better at 12. Just keep spreading the word- if only a few people learn anything, you’ve done something. The most frustrating thing I’ve ever done is try to make some people understand responsible pet care. I tried to place an ad in our free classified about the dangers of “free pet” ads. It wasn’t published because they didn’t want to lose business….losers.
