Why do people save the pull tabs off of drinks? What are they used for?
Tabs are saved for many reasons, the largest being for fund raising, very few of the collections though are legitimate though; 1) No person ever has, nor ever shall get a single moment of free dialysis time for tabs, this is paid for by insurance, or government programs. In fact the hospital just takes them to a scrap yard, and applies the funds to ‘administrative income’, AKA pure profit. 2) No wheel chair has ever been made out of recycled tabs, wheel chairs are made from steel, that would be alchemy, this also applies to the hypodermic needle rumor. McDonald’s House Charities is the largest collector of tabs in the world, and is expected to clear 540 million within the next few days. My Cub Scout Pack collects tabs, sorts them out into bags of 1,000, and sells them on E-Bay to people who need them for arts and crafts, the funds received have sent 100 Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and staff to summer camp, and donated $1,535.25 to the construction of that camps showerhouse, plus we have do
