Why do people put water in their bong?
I don’t know about burning faster, but I’ve read were the water is supposed to remove some of the carcinogens that the smoke has in it. The water should cool the smoke also making it easier to take a bigger hit. I’ve seen some head shops that even sell flavored liquids to put in your bong. Some people use ice water to get a cooler smoke than just plain water. If you are gonna use water you should change it often. It can get kinda nasty. Bong water can be a breeding ground for things like colds too. Be careful you don’t spill it either. Nothing worse than getting that nasty bong water in your carpet. It stinks and stains.
