Why Do People Prefer To Be Cremated?
People prefer to be cremated because: 1. Its their culture. 2. It is environmentally friendly. 3. It does not mean unnecessarily blocking up precious landspace which is better left for the living. 4. It does not require someone to take care of you (your grave) long after you are gone. 5. You could be cremated anywhere in the world and have ashes brought back to your home. A burial requires a dead body to be flown to the home-town. All in all, a burial seems like a painful and wasteful procedure for those left behind rather than the chap that died !!
